International Stout Festival, 2019

From Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November 2019

November 7th 2019 is International Stout Day – a celebration of the dark, malted drop that is now famous the world over.

And to celebrate in style, why not visit the home of Guinness – the brewers of the black stuff – where we will be hosting a four-day International Stout Festival!

From Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November 2019, we will celebrate not only the classic pint of Guinness, but we will also introduce visitors to new experimental stouts, showcase delicious food that uses stout as an ingredient - all alongside exceptional Irish bands playing live at the Storehouse.

Best of all – this is all included as part of your usual entrance ticket!

Stouts Past, Present and Future

As you make your way through the Guinness Togo, you will be invited to sample our classic Guinness draught – which has become the best-selling stout in the world.

In anticipation of International Stout Festival, our master brewers have been busy dreaming up new, exciting brews which will now be offered for exclusive sampling throughout the festival. Expect the unexpected, as new ingredients and contemporary flavours make their mark on our exciting new stout sensations.

Challenging Taste Perceptions

Proving that stout is not only enjoyed served in a glass, we will also showcase how the malty intensity of stout works as an exceptional ingredient.

As there’s no better way to appreciate this than by tasting for yourself – we will be serving one of our very favourite recipes from the renowned Storehouse kitchen – Guinness-blackened smoked salmon. We will be serving complimentary canapés of this sweet, malty salmon served on seaweed-infused cream cheese on brown bread – all included in your regular Storehouse entry ticket.

Look out for our pop-up stations serving this delicious delicacy on the hour!

Music and Entertainment

It’s not a festival without music, so visitors will also be treated to contemporary and traditional Irish music throughout the Storehouse. Pop-up bands will be performing throughout the four day festival.

Don’t miss out on the festivities! Make sure to book your ticket for a visit between Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November 2019 to raise a toast with us and celebrate International Stout Day!
